Performance Sports Massage
The Maintenance Standard
Targeted recovery for the active body. Keep your muscles supple, your joints moving, and your training on track.
Assess
A quick, focused check to identify where you're holding the most tension from your recent workout.
Treat
The core of the session. We use proven deep tissue techniques to release tight fibers and improve local circulation in your primary muscle groups.
Reset
We finish with broad, rhythmic strokes to encourage lymphatic drainage, helping your body process the toxins left behind by intense exercise.
Performance isn't a one-time event. It's a habit. Most of our athletes book a Performance Sports Massage every 3–4 weeks to stay ahead of the overtraining curve
Recognise the Signs
You need this if you
Reduced range of motion during your lifts.
Lingering soreness that lasts more than 48 hours.
A heavy or sluggish feeling during cardio.
Waking up feeling stiff rather than rested.
The Science of Flushing Those Toxins
Think of your muscles like a sponge. During intense training, that sponge gets filled with metabolic byproducts, the waste that makes you feel heavy, sluggish and sore. Stretching helps, but it doesn't always clear the system.
Our process works in three stages:
Deep Compression:
We apply targeted pressure to manually pump nutrient rich blood into the deep tissue. This flushes out the stagnant fluid and metabolic waste that causes lingering soreness.
Adhesion Release:
We find the specific spots where your muscle fibres are stuck together. By breaking these micro adhesions, we restore the glide between your muscle layers.
Neurological Reset:
We signal your nervous system to drop it’s guard. This reduces the protective tension your body holds after a hard workout, allowing your muscles to fully lengthen and relax.
The Result?
You walk out feeling noticeably lighter, with the heavy leg feeling gone and your recovery clock fast forwarded..

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Think of this as essential maintenance, not a spa treat. When you train, your muscles develop micro adhesions tiny glued spots that make you feel tight and sluggish.
A Performance Sports Massage manually pumps the tissue. We flush out the metabolic waste that causes that heavy, aching feeling and physically pull the muscle fibres apart so they can glide freely again. It is the fastest way to shorten your recovery window. You don’t wait for your car to break down before changing the oil, don’t wait for a muscle to tear before giving it the recovery it’s earned.
Shorten the recovery. Hit your next session at 100%. Book your Performance Reset.
-
The Performance Sports Massage (60 min) is a high intensity maintenance session. We focus on flushing 1–2 primary areas of tension to keep you moving.
The Elite Performance Overhaul (90 min) is a whole body focused treatment that includes a full body biomechanical scan and a 7 day recovery plan. Think of this as your regular service and the Overhaul as your major MOT.
-
For most active individuals, a maintenance session every 3 to 4 weeks is advised to prevent muscle fibres from becoming restricted and to keep your recovery cycle on track.
-
Because we are working on the deeper layers of the muscle to flush metabolic waste, you may feel some therapeutic soreness for 24–48 hours, similar to the feeling after a good workout. This is a sign of the tissue remodeling and increased blood flow.
-
We generally recommend a Recovery Window of 12–24 hours after a session to allow the nervous system to settle. If you must train, keep it low intensity.
-
To allow for effective soft tissue work and quick mobility checks, please wear comfortable sports clothing.
